Recording and use of personal data on our website
In general you do not need to provide personal data in order to use our website.
On specific pages you will, however, be asked to provide personal data so that we can supply you with the information or services you have requested.
We record and store this personal data, which you can supply us on an online form or by e-mail, solely for the purpose of providing you with personalised service and sending you the information you have requested.
If you wish to subscribe to the KGAL press mailing list, we will request your explicit permission for us to do so in the relevant place on the website. If you have registered for our press mailing list, we will make use of your data until such time as you unsubscribe.
Once a transaction has been completed, your data will be deleted unless you have explicitly agreed to its further use thereof.
Passing on information to third parties
KGAL will treat the personal data that you send to us on through internet or by e-mail as confidential. Your data will only be passed on within KGAL for the purposes stated. We will only pass on your data to third parties if we are required by law to do so or if we entrust your data to an external service provider for processing such as mailing prospectuses. These service providers receive only the information required to perform their tasks. They are not permitted to use it for any other purpose and are required to handle it in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law. We also conclude non-disclosure agreements with every partner and, if appropriate, contract data processing agreements.
Cookies / Web analysis service
You can reject the use of Piwik, in which case we will not collect any data from you. To do so, please go to the end of this page. Please note that this information will be lost if you delete all the cookies on your computer. You will then need to repeat the rejection of Piwik on subsequent visits to the website.
At certain points the website uses another cookie, called a session cookie. It is used when we ask you to state your nationality. Its purpose is to avoid having to repeat this question on subsequent occasions. The session cookie is deleted automatically once your visit to the website is ended. Right to information and right of revocation
You are entitled to information about your data that we have stored. You may assert this right free of charge at any time and without stating reasons. You may have data of yours that is recorded by us barred, corrected or deleted at any time. You may also revoke at any time without stating reasons the permission you have given us to record and use data at any time, without stating reasons.
